I spent 22 years as a network news TV producer in NYC, and I loved it for probably close to 20 years. It was very exciting, I met celebrities, I got to work with cool people, I worked my way up the ladder and was running my own hour-long shows where I was in charge of it all, and I made really good money. But my personal life was dictated by current events. I had control of my shows down to the second, and then I had no control over anything else in my life.
