60's Flair

I was cruising down Menaul on my way to the Animal Humane Society thrift store when a sign caught my eye: Charley's 33s & CDs. On my way back up after my fruitful excursion from the humane society thrift store, I pulled in.

Advertising vintage clothes' on a sign outside, I ventured in. Inside I was greeted with more CD's then I've seen since 2000, and an array of vinyl, vintage posters, and yes - clothes.

While the selection of vintage clothes is slim, it's quality over quantity, friends, and they have some gems. Like this flowered brown 60's dress I bought for $20 - a steal. I love the colors & structure of the dress, it fits me and my body perfectly. Cinched at the waist with a leather tie, I can dress this look down or up while still feeling comfortable. So next time you're looking for a vintage gem, check out Charley's 33s & CD's on Menaul - maybe even pick up something to listen to on the drive back home.
